Privacy Policy

Effective September 2026

The short version

Secordle doesn't have accounts, doesn't collect your name, email, contacts, or location, and doesn't show ads. The only data collected is an anonymous record of your in-app purchase, handled by our payments provider, RevenueCat, so we know which devices have unlocked the full puzzle pack.

What we collect

When you make the in-app purchase to unlock additional puzzles, our purchase infrastructure provider, RevenueCat, records:

This is used only to confirm your purchase and restore it if you reinstall the app or switch devices. We don't collect analytics, location data, contacts, or any other personal information, and we don't use this data for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites.

Third parties

Two companies are involved in getting your purchase processed:

We don't share any data with anyone beyond these two services, and we don't sell data to anyone.

Children's privacy

Secordle is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app has no accounts and no data entry beyond gameplay itself, there's nothing for a child (or anyone) to submit that would identify them personally.

Data retention and deletion

Since purchase records are tied to an anonymous device identifier rather than your identity, there's no personal account data to delete. If you'd like your purchase history removed from RevenueCat's records, contact us and we'll help submit that request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
